LIFE LATELY 2022

Living Large (literally 3 months pregnant!), New Move Thriving, and Grieving.

You read that right. It’s official. We’ve got a summer bun in the oven due July 2022. The emotions are all over the place (I’ve heard that’s pretty normal), happy, sad, nervous, anxious, overwhelming, lots of unknowns… I will be sure to document my journey here. Stay tuned.

New house, who dis? Honestly, I have a love/hate relationship with moving. Feels so good to de-clutter and re-organize, but man, it can be stressful. Lots of ‘moving parts’ (pun intended lol). From clearing out and packing up your old space and then getting all your crap over to your new place, unboxing, unpacking… ugh. But once things have settled, you can finally breathe again. Highly don’t recommend moving when you are pregnant.

Grieving - I truly don’t think time ever heals. And I’ve come to accept that. I lost my Dad to Leukemia cancer when I was 6 turning 7… and the wound is still very much open. We recently just lost our first (fur) baby girl, Irie. A big, silly Shar-Pei / Pitbull mix we rescued and adopted when we were going to college at the University of Hawaii. She was a little over 10 years old but still very healthy. Tragic things happen unexpectedly, she left us far too soon (sooner than we thought). She lived a beautiful life and we will never forget her and all of our memories together.

And that is life. In one moment, you can get the best news ever, and just like that with a blink of an eye, you can have what feels like one of the most painful, worst experiences all in the same month.

Getting back to the present moment, staying grateful and living with an abundance mindset is the only way for me to push through the tough times.

Onto new beginnings…
